I have always enjoyed the art of creating something of quality, usefulness and beauty from a raw material.  I like leather as a medium for building a beautiful useful product. Leather can be almost anything you want it to be.

I try to use only American tanned leather.  I sew, mold, shape, stamp, carve and tool each leather item ,myself, and often distinguish an item by carving the customer's name on it.  I make most of my own molds.

I am a self-taught leather craftsman. I began making holsters more than 25 years ago when, as a police officer, I experienced difficulty finding a left-handed holster.

No product is factory made or mass produced. I cater to my customers. What I make depends on what the customer wants and how they intend to use it.

Business people often order a briefcase that is styled to suit their personal needs.  The briefcase may have an exterior pocket for a cell phone and an interior one for a calculator. It may also have a simple design carved into it or a pattern of basket weaving stamped on a section of it or just a plain leather finish.

Even golf bags or fly rod cases can be tastefully designed with decorative leather work.  I use many of my own designs and will do whatever it takes to adapt them to his customers requirements.
